Max is the business brains behind the scenes, and I have the Sonography skills!
I have been a Radiographer for 19 years, with 14 of those as a Sonographer. I carried out my Ultrasound training (PGDip) in Australia, where I worked for several years before returning home… to bonnie Scotland.
I have worked all around Scotland for the NHS and Privately, which has given me lots of experience in scanning. I came to settle in the fantastic Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock! I very quickly realised that there was something huge that Kilmarnock was missing, and we knew that we could do something about that! So, after a lot of careful planning, Babyscan.me was born.
I believe that a baby scan is one of the most treasured moments and I feel lucky to be able to share that special moment with the many parents I get to meet every day. It is something that shouldn’t be rushed, and you can capture memories that can be cherished forever.
